Libertarianism is worthy of popular attention. It moves people to free themselves from excessive government. This Political Action Committee will Focus the country's attention on the Libertarian Party and Libertarian candidates.

U.S. and world politics are shifting toward true liberty for the individual. We aim to make Libertarianism as fashionable and popular as it should be. How? Through the media by making Libertarianism and the Libertarian movement newsworthy. There are many people who believe in liberty for the individual, and are willing do their part to further that noble purpose. They are unaware of the Libertarian movement. We intend to inform them of the Libertarian opportunities through audio and video tapes, speaking appearances, printed material, music, and humor. And we will use the media, PAC-related actions, and lobbying.

All of these endeavours are for the purpose of making personal liberty awareness a part of the culture again!.

NO! Especially "NO!" if you want to win elections -- to be blunt. We all know what freedom is without being a student of Bastiat, Mayor, Von Mises, Rand, and others. Focus PAC is driven by those philosophies, but INDIVIDUALS, WHO MAY BE UNAWARE OF THOSE PHILOSOPHIES IN DETAIL, NEED ONLY VOTE LIBERTARIAN TO SET THEMSELVES FREE. Libertarianism is not just for the intellectual and the academic, but for the "poor, tired, hungry, huddled masses," for all who value liberty.

Focus PAC firmly believes that most of the victimising done in the world is a direct result of government intervention, and, in many cases, brazen oppression. We do not cater to the dependency/victim mindset most leftists (and left-anarchists) perpetuate.

We promote dignity, self-worth, self-responsibility, and self-ownership for true self-empowerment.

One must give liberty to others before claiming it for oneself. All governments are unstable and often last only a few decades. When a country changes, that change can be either good or bad for its people's personal freedom.

Focus PAC is interested in furthering the cause of freedom throughout the world. World opinion can be another effective tool for furthering liberty at home.

Not if Libertarians want to win elections! Our aim is clear--we want to invade the current political bureaucracy and concurrently dismantle it. As Richard Boddie paraphrases Shakespeare, "Friends, Romans, Countrymen, lend me your ears. I have not come to seize power, but to bury it!" We will never compromise our principles and become part of the problem. Simple self-preservation and self-interest tells us to be part of the solution.

Libertarianism, by definition, can never be fully accepted by mainstream politics anywhere today. Being "outsiders" is our greatest source of strength and credibility. For the first time in history there is a political organization, a Libertarian political action committee, dedicated to pulling back and reducing government to its one moral function.

The Democrats, like the Republicans, have destroyed themselves by bankrupting the U.S. and all its people. They've become seduced by the power they wield, and have planted themselves firmly as the establishment and enemies of real change. Focus PAC asserts that the term "Liberal Democrat" is oxymoronic. The only liberals (true, classical liberals) are Libertarians. As Gene Cizewski put it, "It's time to put the Democrat Party out of its misery." We would add, "...along with the rest of politics as we know it."

The Democratic Freedom Caucus (DFC) is a Libertarian caucus within the Democrat Party, much like the Republican Liberty Caucus is within the Republican Party. The DFC is a separate entity. Our goals are similar, so we do work with them for the betterment of America.

It is a community of Libertarians who believe in emphasizing the socially tolerant aspects of the Libertarian Party. In addition, the STC's goal is to present Libertarian ideas in a compassionate, communitarian manner. Essentially, the STC is the internal Libertarian Party wing of Focus PAC, and most LP members who support Focus PAC are members of the Socially Tolerant Caucus.

Yes, we believe this is the single most important issue in the U.S. (and the World) The misery and tyranny it causes is no different than misery and tyranny of the prohibition era. Just as the war on alcohol was ended, so should end the war on drugs. But that ending is the one thing the Republicans will not touch and the Democrats will put aside. Therefore, re-legalization should be the primary focus of the Libertarian Party.

That depends on how much the donations make possible. First, of course, we pay the operating costs and expenses. Remaining funds then go to support approved projects, candidates' campaigns, and other freedom-oriented efforts.
